CCLC Extracurricular Program

21st Century Community Learning Center (CCLC) 

During CCLC time, students will focus on academics for approximately one hour. We offer an educational hour that includes reading and math, as well as individualized help in these subjects for students who need it. Following the educational hour, we have an hour of enrichment activities. See below for some of our enrichment offerings!

Art Club 

An enrichment activity that encourages students in grades K through 5 to participate in hands-on activities including; art technique, journaling, drawing, coloring, painting, crafts and others.

Social & Emotional 

Our program is designed to build self-awareness, empathy, and resilience, this curriculum empowers students to manage emotions, resolve conflict positively, and build supportive friendships in a safe, fun, and inclusive environment. 

Gym class

A program that provides a safe space for students to release energy, build confidence, and practice physical activity through fun activities.

Music Bells 

Students learn to play 8-note songs using color-coded bells, developing listening skills, hand-eye coordination, and basic music theory in a collaborative ensemble setting. 

NASA & SCIENCE

This program features activities on planetary atmospheres, star lifecycles, and astronaut training, allowing kids to build rockets and explore the solar system through interactive, 100% engaging, and safe experiments. 

Only for 4th and 5th grades.

Dance Club

The program provides a safe space for artistic expression, physical activity, and social connection. Sessions focus on choreography, skill-building, and fun in a unstructured, supportive environment. 

Cooking and Eating Healthy

Kids learn essential skills like knife safety, measuring, and using kitchen tools while exploring new flavors. The classes emphasize healthy eating habits, using whole ingredients, and making nutritious snacks and meals. 

Photography club

Studentsw will participate in themed photo shoots, weekly challenges, and collaborative projects, building both technical skills and artistic confidence.
